WriteAtHome is a University of California A-G online publisher.
Our A-G English courses combine an annual WriteAtHome course, a Wasko Lit course, and two additional projects to align with the California A-G English requirements (B).
All courses are online. Wasko Lit is available in two versions: Live and Recorded (asynchronous).

WriteAtHome A-G English courses require approximately 6-8 hours of work per week. This estimate includes assignments and class time and will vary depending on the student and on each week’s assignments.
*Not included in Wasko Lit Recorded (a weekly recorded lecture is provided in lieu of live class sessions)
**The reading schedule is designed to require approximately one hour per day for four days each week.
WriteAtHome A-G courses include two additional projects in the Modules section of each Wasko Lit course. These will be submitted to and graded by the student’s teacher or parent.

WRITEATHOME WRITING COURSES FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLERS
WriteAtHome offers annual and semester courses as well as 8-week writing workshops for students in grades 5-12.
All of our courses provide:
feedback on all papers from expert writing coaches
weekly lessons, writing assignments, and quizzes
an assessment score on the final draft of each paper
parent dashboards to easily monitor your student’s progress

WASKO LIT GREAT BOOKS LITERATURE COURSES FOR GRADES 8 - 12
Wasko Lit is an online Great Books literature program. Wasko Lit courses can be taken by themselves or as part of an A-G English course. It is available in two versions: live and recorded. (See links above for book lists and syllabi.)
Each week, students:
complete the assigned reading*
take a short online comprehension quiz
answer an online discussion question
attend a one-hour, live class session by webinar (unless they are taking the recorded version)
In addition, students must submit two literary analysis papers and one creative project during the year.
