Live Literature Classes:
Attend a one-hour, weekly, live course session
Complete each week’s assigned reading
Take a short, online comprehension quiz each week
Answer a weekly, online discussion question
Submit two literary analysis papers and one creative project
Introduction to High School Literature
This course provides a broad introduction to literature and concepts that will prepare high schoolers for future study. We will cover a variety of terms and engage in literary analysis not simply as an academic exercise, but as a means of increasing the richness and delight of our literary experience. The course is organized by genre, with units on short stories, poetry, drama, and non-fiction, with a variety of engaging novels spread throughout.
