Lisa Strader loves stories, words, and adventure. Homeschooled from kindergarten to graduation, she has practiced classroom teaching since the age of 13. In addition to WriteAtHome, her teaching credits include composition and creative writing at a local learning center, drama and music at a performing arts school, and numerous private students. Her stories and articles have appeared in magazines such as Practical Homeschooling, Home Educators Magazine, San Diego Family Magazine, and WriterAdvice, and drama troupes all over the St. Louis area have performed her short plays. 

When she's not writing or editing, you’ll find her tending her vegetables, chasing chickens, singing loudly, making sauerkraut or mozzarella, practicing violin or piano, taking long walks, or traveling around the country with her husband Zachary.
