Middle School Literature Courses
Middle School Literature is a genre-based literature class broken into units on short stories, poetry, drama, non-fiction, and the novel and is designed for students in grades six through eight. This year we’ll be offering two Middle School Lit classes, and we’ll be offering three beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Middle School Lit 1 is recommended for grades 6 & 7, and Middle School Lit 2 is recommended for grades 7 & 8.

Two papers, one per semester
One creative project
Students can expect to spend two to three hours per week outside of class on assignments.
Class size is limited to 50 students.
